Stamped Song Society

“All the songs that are fit to mail.”

S3Stamped. Song. Society.by Soulcraft by CoCo

Hear All About It.

Once a month, DJ Lady CoCo seals one song in an envelope, writes the whole story behind it and mails it to your door. The only edition you'll race to the mailbox for.

Somewhere along the way, the mailbox got boring. Bills. Catalogs. A coupon for a mattress nobody asked about. Lady CoCo, an international DJ who has held residencies from Bahrain to Doha to the Maldives, has decided enough is enough.

Starting in January, she'll pick one song a month, write the story behind it, design a little world around it and mail the whole thing, sealed and stamped, to members of the Stamped Song Society.

No algorithm. No skip button. No spoilers. Just you, a letter opener and the good kind of suspense.

Membership is limited, and the first 150 members keep the Founding price for life. Asked for comment, CoCo said only: “Put the kettle on and check your mail.”

The Stamped Song Society seal: a record needle reaching down to meet a hand
Sealed with this. Every envelope arrives wearing the seal. Frame-worthy, honestly.

A record tonearm reaching down to meet a hand

I've spent my whole life handing people songs. On the dance floor, in the car, in a text at 2 a.m. that just says listen to this.

This club is the slow version of that. One song a month, the story behind it, and something you can hold while it plays.

Liner Notes

The letter. The artist, the record, the story behind the song and the gossip I'm allowed to tell, plus who you should fall for next.

No. 02

Sticker sheet

Stickers designed for the song and cut by hand on my Cricut, the hardest-working employee in this building.

No. 03

The puzzle

A brain teaser built from the song. The answers arrive next month, so no peeking. You physically can't.

No. 04

Bookmark

Book picks that pair with the record the way a good wine pairs with dinner. Reading glasses optional.

No. 05

Postcard

Art made for the song. Frame it, fridge it, or mail it to someone who deserves a little treat.

No. 06

Playlist card

Scan it for the song, its B-sides and a Lady CoCo playlist that picks up right where the envelope leaves off.

Editor's noteThe song itself stays sealed inside until you open it. No previews, no spoilers, no peeking. We checked.

How It Works

1

Save your spot

Join by the last day of the month and next month's envelope has your name on it. Literally. I write it on there.

2

I go digging

I pick the song (plus a few B-sides), write the liner notes and design every piece around it. By hand. Every month.

3

Mail call

Your envelope lands mid-month. Put the song on, read along, and act casual when someone asks why you're smiling at the mailbox.

Section B4 · Advice column

Dear CoCo

Your burning questions, answered by the editor herself.

Dear CoCo, when does my envelope actually show up?

— Impatient in Olympia

Join by the last day of the month and you're in the next month's envelope. They go out early in the month and usually land mid-month. Your mail carrier is about to become your favorite person.

Dear CoCo, how much is this going to cost me?

— Budgeting in Bellevue

Founding Members pay $13 a month for as long as they stay, stamp included. That's about two fancy lattes, and the lattes don't come with stickers. There are 150 Founding spots. After that, a standby list opens, and if it reaches 175 I open a second run, up to 200 spots, at $15 a month.

Dear CoCo, what kind of music are we talking?

— Curious in Kent

Whatever I'd play if you were standing in the DJ booth with me. Songs across decades and genres, picked by feel: classics you forgot you loved and deep cuts you'll swear you found yourself.

Dear CoCo, do I need a record player?

— Turntable-less in Tacoma

Not at all. Every envelope has a playlist card you scan with your phone. A record player just makes you look cooler while you do it.

Dear CoCo, can I give this as a gift?

— Thoughtful in Tukwila

Please do. A 3-month gift is $45 and comes with a printable certificate for the big reveal. It shows up three times, so you look thoughtful three times.

Dear CoCo, what if I need to cancel or pause?

— Commitment-Shy in Spokane

Anytime, from your account, starting with the next envelope. No guilt trip, no "are you sure?" email chain. I'll miss you, though.

Dear CoCo, do you ship outside the US?

— Waiting in Toronto

Paper envelopes are US only for now, but you've got two ways in. The Digital Edition ($5 a month) opens worldwide in March 2027. And the moment 10 people from your country join the waitlist, I open the paper Letter Edition there. Pick your country on the form so your vote counts.

Dear CoCo, what if my envelope gets lost?

— Worried in Puyallup

If it hasn't arrived 3 weeks after it mails, message me and I'll send a replacement, once per envelope. The mail is magic, not perfect.

Dear CoCo, I moved. Now what?

— New Address in Renton

Update your address in your account by the 25th and that month's envelope follows you to the new place.
